ECCOHIO will be hosting an open forum on POVERTY

Saturday, October 27, 2012
10am-12pm

Second Baptist Church
245 South Grant St., Wooster, OH

Poverty creates many problems in our lives. The voices of people living in Poverty are often not heard. There is no single cause of poverty, where our federal, state and local tax dollars are spent and not spent can reduce or increase poverty.

As more people slide into poverty, it’s imperative that our tax dollars be spent helping meet people’s basic needs and empowering people to
improve their lives, neighborhoods and communities.

Senators Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman, US Representatives Betty Sutton and Jim Renacci along with state and local elected officials have been invited to attend to receive testimony and share their views. Oral testimony will be
recorded. Written statements will be copied. Both will be delivered to public
officials who cannot attend the public hearing.

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. ALL ARE WELCOME!
